Less is more no.2

Another attempt as less is more... that bow took for ever... I'm no good at bows esp small ones :))

One or two people commented on the Penny Black stamp I used in yesterdays card.
I thought you might like to see it in full.
***

I agree that the swirls on yesterdays card would be better with the flat side facing the image,
Off to do some snooping and commenting :)

Love the birdcage card and thanks for showing us the whole PB stamp (I might just need that one). I agree that it looked better with part of it cut off as in yesterday's post.

The birdcage is adorable ;-) I'm hopeless with bows too - have you tried a bow easy? It revolutionised bow making for me and its not expensive - I got mine from here http://www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=157&products_id=1161 You can make any size bow, single, double just by wrapping around the different "legs"

Hi Suzi great, card today I bought those bird stamps as soon as I saw them. They're lovely , I like the delicate colouring on the cage. Really pretty. The bow makers are very good, and easy to use if you struggle with ribbon. Hugs x ChrisB

You need to use a bowmaker Sue... perfect bows every time!
Thanks for your second attempt... both the new card and the revised first one look great. I DO prefer the swirls facing outwards!
See you next time!

Beautiful cards, i love the birdcage image it's so elegant, and i struggle with bows too! I bought a http://www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=0vbnh5ps8rjcrptsj020khfem2&keyword=bow+easy, and it works a treat on smaller bows.
